Recent news reporting that Acer is going to simplify it’s line up and focus on niche products like the new Ultrabooks. The Acer product line is super huge worldwide. For casual experience on the web I would say go with a tablet, specifically the iPad2 mentioned above. The netbook is good for the person who perhaps writes a lot, creates documents, emails like a fiend, maybe has to log onto virtual desktops or tunnel in to the corporate network.
